For sale is a very nice 1986 SVO mustang. If you’re a mustang enthusiast you know the story behind this car. If not then this car likely isn’t for you. I purchased this car in December of 2010. I drove it just about every weekend, and some week days to work for about a year and a half. I joined the Army in 2012 and had no choice but to put it in a storage unit limiting my time driving it. I’ve decided that I should sell this SVO because I have two and barely have time for any of them. This is a 86 completely original with an exception of the speakers, Ford motorsport A237 roller cam (awesome lope at idle), walbro fuel pump, and muffler’s and cat deleted (the exhaust broke during a trip and I had no choice but to modify it) The tires are all new cooper RS-3’s. This car has been a very reliable source of transportation for me. In 2011 I drove it to and from New York with no issues. This car has a small part in Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords magazine (comes with the magazine issue), and won first place in an NMRA car show. This SVO is probably the most documented higher miled SVOs you’ll ever come across. I have just about every piece of document involving this car since it’s conception. It’s a large binder of over 130 pages of receipts and maintenance records. It includes a window sticker, copy of the original build sheet, warranty card, and much more. It comes with the original radio uninstalled. It also comes with an original SVO bra for the bumper. Included will also be a set of original Goodyear Gatorback tires that were “take offs” from an SVO. They come on separate wheels and have less than 500 miles on them (full tread). The condition is as follows : The paint I would rate about a 7.5 out of 10. It was repainted in the early 90’s and kept in a garage since then. I have the receipt for the paint job too. The interior I would also rate a 7.5 out of 10. The seats are in awesome shape, the leather pieces have no tears or holes in them. In fact the shift knob is NOS. This car was in an accident sometime in the early 90’s where the bumper and header panel had to be replaced. There was never any frame damage. The a/c system needs to be service and is all there. This car may leave a small mark of oil in the driveway after driving it but is not a consistent leak. The headlight flicker sometimes.
