1968 Ford Mustang

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to bring to market this stunning 1968 Mustang Coupe for your consideration. The car was produced March 25, 1968 – which was 2 days ahead of schedule. This example is a very special example and is one of only 10 produced that month. It is finished in Easter Time Coral over a Parchment interior with black carpet. It was one of the promotional “Mustang of the Month” cars used in Denver Colorado. It came with the Sprint option A package which gave it C shaped side stripes, wheel lip moldings, pop open gas cap. The car comes with a Marti Report and a magazine article being featured in the Mustang Times. This is an excellent running and driving car and is must have for any collector or enthusiast.

The 1968 Mustang was little changed on the outside from its 1967 counterpart apart from the obvious side reflectors that were now mandated. Most of the changes were in subtle refinements to the interior and exterior that most people didn’t notice. Cosmetically they had different simulated side scoops. The 1968 scoop looked more like a vertical “C” whereas the 1967 looked like air intake openings.
