1970 Porsche 914 1.7 Liter. 5 speed transmission. 139,000 miles. This is a 2 owner car since 1973. The current owner purchased this 914 from Vasek Polak Porsche in Hermosa Beach, CA in June of 1973. Sales receipt and some service tickets from Vasek Polak included with sale of the car. The owner and the car have been in the St Louis area since the mid 70’s. The car has always been garaged and well maintained. Service records from various independent Porsche dealers and import shops back to 1974. About 2001-2002 the car suffered hail damage and was cosmetically restored. New paint, seals, lights, lens etc. Any all surface rust and door dings etc were repaired and addressed at this time. In July of 2010 all fuel hoses and clamps were service in the engine bay, the front calipers, discs, pads, hoses and wheel bearings were all replaced with new German parts. Additionally the car was serviced with new tune up parts and fluids in 2010. Since that the time the car has been garaged with minimal use. We recently recovered the vehicle from garage storage and installed a new battery flushed the fuel system and brought the car back to road worthy condition. The car starts, runs,drives and stops as a well kept unmodified 1.7 liter 914. The targa top is in good shape and the car has not been allowed to sit in the rain and fill up with water as they often do. The front and rear trunks/metal is solid. Some minimal rust around the battery tray but nothing major. The rockers, floors and wheel wells are all solid as well.The interior is stock and complete. Some wear to the seats and bolsters and some cracking in the dash. There is a bad spot in the rear trunk lid as seen in the pics. The paint is cracked in this spot.
