This is #112, 1970 Plymouth Superbird 440 SIX PACK. She is 100% original numbers matching drivetrain, aside from the trunk pan- original sheet metal, extensive owner history back to the early 1970’s. Although she is one of only 15 factory Vitamin-C cars, she has spent most of her life painted in Petty Blue, sprayed “The Kings” color as a condition of sale by the dealer for its first long-term owner. He recalled not even knowing that street cars were originally produced in the coveted hue. See the photo of the Circa 1972, the car still retains her original California License Plate. Changing hands in fall of 1975, she remaining in California until 1980 when she was brought to the Illinois where she lived the life of an Aero Warrior Club member’s car, played with and pampered, changing hands between fellow club members until 2002. The car also has registrations from mid-1970’s in California to the early 2000’s during its life as a member of the Chicagoland Mopar Connection and Aero Warrior Club. Dave Kanofsky was the last Chicago based owner of this car. He and his wife rode in it from their wedding to their reception. They also brought both of their kids home from the hospital when they were born. There is no doubt that this car has been loved and well cared for its entire life.
