1968 Chevrolet Chevelle 2-Door Coupe First, let me say why am I selling this car. I have always done restorations and most were for customers (Professional athletes, Executives, and Car Enthusiasts). My wife searched for an found this 68 Chevelle and wanted it done up as a Pro-Street car for her and I to take to car shows together. She picked the color and I did the rest. In the end, no detail was left undone and no expense spared. However, now that she is in her 5th year on Dialysis she can no longer do the car shows as she cannot be out in the summer heat all day long and she cannot help me with the car. Anyone who has done car shows knows that they are long, hot, and very hard days for that $12 trophy you get when it is all said and done. Because of this and the fact that this car has only seen the sunlight twice in 2 years (both shows we won Best of Show, Best Paint, Best Engine, and People’s Choice), we needed to make a decision on what to do, sell it or let it sit more years in the garage? The time has come to sell the car and it is like a child to us, so this is not easy, but it is the right thing to do to put this car in the hands of someone who can really enjoy it. We would love nothing more that for the car to be out, be seen, and win more awards regardless of who now owns it. It will always be our pride and joy.
