This is a 52 Ford F1 5 star cab truck. I can not take the credit for building this one. We bought it about 7 years ago, a month after it was finished by the builder in Dayton, Oh who builds a lot of F1 & F100s. The truck started out as a very solid stock old patina truck. The front suspension consists of a Micheal Thomas enterprises front crossmember, very similar to a mustang II, that is welding in between the frame rails, but uses Chrysler Volare control arms, steering, and torsion bar suspension. Truck has power steering and front power brakes. The rear suspension consists of a rear flip kit, and small C notch, with a Chrysler rear axle. I was told it was a 8 ¾ rear with 323 gears but I’m no Chrysler guy. It rolls down the highway in the passing lane and can roll at a steady 80+mph. The rear bed was raised a few inches. The drive train is a great running small block Chevy 350 with a edelbrock intake, and new carb and HEI ignition. The trans is a 700R4 with a Lokar tall shifter.
