Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/Austin is pleased to present this 1969 Buick GS-400 Stage1 finished Cameo Cream. Seamlessly blending the worlds of luxury and performance, the Buick GS quickly became a dream car for many of us. Everything from the Stage 1 Ram Air 400CID V-8 (owner believes it to be numbers matching, but is not documented) with a hi-lift solid cam, 11:1 compression ratio, larger exhaust and intake valves, stiffer valve springs, specially jetted Stage1 Quadrajet carburetor, high flow fuel and oil pumps to the BB code turbo 400 automatic transmission, front disc brakes, heavy duty suspension, the original intake & exhaust manifolds and Posi-traction 3.74 rear gears are all designed to make this a true drivers car. A set of 15-inch Buick Rallye wheels with Buick-branded center caps and B.F. Goodrich Radial T/A tires connect the car with the road. The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl joined by black door panels, dash pad, headliner and carpets. The three-spoke steering wheel is mounted to a tilting column and fronts a 120-mph speedometer, a clock and fuel gauge. A 6k-rpm tachometer, oil pressure and water temperature gauges are mounted below the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 15k miles although total mileage is unknown.
