Crazy Cool Custom 1964 Ford E100 Truck known as Spectrta-1 back in the day. Tons of custom mods, Has won many shows and been in a couple magazines is what i’ve heard from a few guys. Ford 283 engine, fires up, runs good but doesn’t idle, needs tune up. Amazing original condition but does need some work, just rebuilt carb, cleaned out fuel tank, Auto trans rebuilt and painted, Over size Ford rear end, custom interior in great shape for the age. It’s all there just needs some love. I was able to track down the original builder, he lives in L.A. Really cool guy, he told me about the build etc. The truck has a custom shell that makes it look like a van. It has Hydraulic rams that lift the entire shell about 12″ in the air, so when you hanging out, its like a canopy in the up position. It also make’s it easy to remove the shell. Β The top also is removable and so is the interior, so you can use it as a truck if you want. It has a old school TV and a custom velvet red sofa with cup holders, red deep shag carpet etc, custom split Gull Wing style door, top half goes up, Lower one folds down and acts as a step with custom lighting in the foot steps. Really too much to list, custom Grill with headlight covers, custom visor, custom molded Flares and side rockers, custom door handles, custom tail lights, etc All glass is in excellent shape. Interior cab window section behind driver lifts up into rear area, two sunroofs, one in cab and one in rear area (both need some restoration, cables etc). This thing was ahead of its time, originally built in the 70’s. It has a light bar under the dash that would change color as the music played. Beautiful custom metal console that has cupholders that fold down, it also houses the switches for interior lights etc and features a photo of the van etched in the center. Orig gauges plus some aftermarket gauges, chrome trim parts, custom door pulls, orig custom steering wheel.
