Completed in 1963 at Barris shop in California under his direction – one of his team’s car. Named one of the top ten customs by Car Craft Magazine February 1963. Twenty-one year old builder lived in Oregon at the time and took an apprenticeship at Barris to build this car and learn from this historic custom car builder. Remained in Oregon until 1996 when purchased and sold to a Georgia collector. Original Purple paint, color changed to Burgundy some time by 1977 when featured again in a 1977 magazine. Black tuck and roll Naugahyde interior was installed in 1963 and remains today. Motor swap to 1965 Corvette 327 with six pack carbs and floor shift automatic. Lake pipes also added after the 1977 article. Own a true piece of documented, old school custom history. Brand new show quality dual stage paint in 2011. Started life as a drag car. Custom completed 1963. Last owner bought the car with 3,100 original miles and drive it another 4,200 traveling to shows in the southeastern USA
