I don’t know too much about this car or cars in general but I will tell you what I do know. The car was left to me by my grandfather upon his passing from cancer in 2006. It has not been run since about 2004 as he was too sick to drive it to shows. I had it flat bedded to my garage and have kept it garaged, registered and insured (in case of fire or water damage). I have not started it and I have absolutely no idea how to shift it! My grandfather was a Kaiser fanatic, he was in the Kaiser club and had a few of his cars featured in the club magazine. My grandfather was just finishing details on the Henry J when he got sick. It was just freshly painted, gray and champagne (i know the color because he always said he wanted to do one in champagne). The paint looks a little dull in the dark low light but it is perfect, bright, shiny and sparkly! I believe that everything was pretty much rebuilt mechanically and cosmetically. I know that most of the chrome was redone but some of the grill pieces are missing, I think he had sent them out to be refinished and never got the chance to retrieve them? I believe that the car is 100% complete with the exception of the grill pieces? There is a little light surface rust on the bumpers from storage. I know that the car was running good before he passed because he had driven it to a few car shows. I have not started it, it definitely needs a battery. I tried to push it out of the garage to get nice photos but it would not move. The person helping me said that the brakes may be frozen from sitting or it was in gear and we could not find out where neutral was on the shifter. Another ebayer just informed me that the interior is called “DRAGON” and another ebayer informed me that it is a six cylinder. Another ebayer said that the battery is hooked up wrong, it should be positive ground, my grandfather may have had it converted to negative ground? The photos supplied here are photos that were taken in my grandfather’s shop under poor lighting just before I had it moved.
