The “Glass Pearl” was built by Jeff Jones at Jones Rod and Custom. The truck was first owned by a family member who got it as a 40th birthday present. It had been hibernating in a garage for the last 15 years with no work being done to it. When the opportunity to buy the truck came up, Jeff jumped on it. In August of 2014 he started working on the truck in his shop, “Jones Rod and Custom”. It was the first full project to be built there. The build had a deadline, Torquefest in May of 2015.
