This roadster was a professional one-off build by Darwins Hot rod shop in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The car was built for A FORMER PROFESSIONAL BASEBALL PLAYER. He was a large fellow. The one-off Wescott body was hand-made to accommodate his 6’4″ frame. The seat in the roadster is 5 1/2″ wider than stock and the way the lean back is constructed, it will handle a large person. So if you always wanted a ’32 roadster and simply wouldn’t fit, this car could be the answer. The car is based on a Barry Loebeck Chassis. The chrome suspension is a Bell dropped axle and Posies Super Slide springs; Pete and Jakes Ladder Bars and Hairpins and Wilwood Brakes and Speedway Aluminum front hubs and finned backing plates . The engine is a 350 SBC built by Custom and Performance in Mena, Arkansas. The modified 350 turbo transmission was built by TPI.
