The interior wood of the sink is painted in white. New vent tube and vent tube cap was installed. Small side tables are fully functional. Edges of small tables and sink itself got new T-Moldings from Wolfsburg West. It has the original camper van sticker on the right side. – Table goes up and down nicely and is 100% functional. It’s kept original and got new edging trim. – Stool was restored in amber pear wood veneer. It has a lot of extra storage space underneath the seat. The interior wood underneath the seat was painted in white. There is a second storage space in the back of the seat which can be reached from above. Perfect to store newspapers, magazine, or tablets… – Z Bed cabinet has the original Westfalia sticker on the bottom left corner. It is restored with amber pear wood veneer. It has a  storage compartment underneath the bench. The wood inside was painted in white. The metal part of the compartment are covered with black carpet. Two two point seat belts were installed and can be hidden underneath the bench if not needed. Z Bed is fully functionally and folds down to a good sized bed. – Cushions of stool, two bench cushions, trunk cushions as well as spare tire cover were made by a local professional upholstery store.  The color matched the original mustard yellowish upholstery color perfectly. Materials such as zippers, knobs, air release holes are probably better than the factory one when the bus was built in Germany in 1971. Front seat upholstery in black. – Brand new carpet in rear, center and back. Carpet in front is black. Carpet in center is grey. Carpet in rear underneath cushion is black. Carpet in back and front is not glued so that you can see body underneath (See rust free body in restoration pictures). – Headliner in front center and rear restored with amber pear wood veneer. It takes a lot of work and time to restore and install the headliners. – Panels right and left in front, left in center as well as in sliding door restored with amber pear wood veneer. – Center camper windows are fully functional and open and close nicely. Knobs were replaced with brand new original knobs from Wolfsburg West. – Sliding door has new doorhandles from Wolfsburg West. – The original 71 Westfalia camper curtains in brown and mustard yellow are really hard to find. I found a person in Canada who was able to provide the original fabric and knobs. Front curtain is one peace and covers windshield and right and left front window. Rear window has a two peace sliding curtain system. Curtains on the left side of bus are 4 peaces. On the right side, there is one curtain behind the cabinet and one for the sliding door. – The bus has the rare original radio cover. I chose not to install a radio yet. There are so many buses with aftermarket radios and speakers all over the cabinets that take away from the originality of the bus. It is really easy to install a radio into this bus. I thought it is the best to leave it up to the new owner how he or she would like to have the entertainment set up. – For your safety, of course this bus has a brand new fire extinguisher behind the drivers seat. – It also comes wit a beautiful VW bus keychain that matches the colors of the bus (see photos). Its a high quality keychain licensed by Volkswagen. Many more brand brand new or fully refurbished parts…
